A realisation
I had a lovely experience recently, which I want to share. I remember my art teacher once said when you finish a painting, signing it is not as simple as writing your name. Your signature on art needs to represent you and who you feel you want the world to know you as. She would say you think carefully how and where you put your signature. Summer painting
It’s summer, the heat is here, the flowers are out and I’m so happy to be painting! I did my first outside painting a few weeks ago. I say this because I’m so relaxed after I have completed them. Normally completely knackered too! With slate it’s a wonderful material to paint on and something smooth and calming. With wellies it is along process but the end result is fabulous! They are going to be plant pots, umbrella holders and door stops! Quirky eh

She became upset, as she knew she would not be able to see the painting for much longer, as her vision is going slowly. I asked her to place her fingers on the painting and to move them around it. She sai
