Art for Visually impaired

I wanted to share a heart warming experience I had recently.
My art isn't fine Art, but it captures the image I am painting. I paint so that the person who buys the painting can feel the image, not simply see it.
I did a painting for someone who is partly visually impaired. She became upset, as she knew she would not be able to see the painting for much longer, as her vision is going slowly.
I asked her to place her fingers on the painting and to move them around it.
She said she could feel the dogs eyes, face and shape. She became very happy because she could always enjoy the painting regardless.
Art isn't simply capturing an image.
Art can be a window into many feelings, thoughts and glimpses into the moments we never imagined.
I took from this: remember Art can be felt not just by our eyes, but our other senses too.
